Rampart Lakes via the backdoor 2018
A very steep, but short 2.4 mile fisherman trail to Rampart Lakes. The rough trail, where you earn every step, passes Lake Laura and Lake Lillian before ascending to a high ridge and a saddle below Rampart Ridge. A 600' descent takes you to Rampart Lakes. The lakes sit in a plateau high above Rachel Lake.
