This is my favorite shot of Center Church.
The morning chill, wet grass and mist cover a farm.
This has been printed on cabinet-grade plywood. The sky and fog are processed clear so the wood grain shows through in those areas. The effect is quite amazing.

Note the cowhide insulates so well, frost forms on the surface and has not melted. I tried this photo in black & white, but certainly liked the muted color tones better.

Feburary 25, the sun rises over a frozen landscape, bare trees and morning mist.
The sun was just clearing the trees and this frozen field when this was taken. I was frozen too!

Red Gate Farm
I have walked, ran and driven by this spot hundreds of times always trying to figure out how to capture this scene. On a blustery November day the low afternoon sun splashed the red gate with wonderful bright light. The photo turned out very monochromatic though, so I isolated the gate and processed the rest into black and white. Too bad the willow on the island is overgrown......
