Great Blue Heron Takes Flight.
Adjusting the shutter for "quiet" mode, I stayed absolutely still in the tall grass as it waded, S-L-O-W-L-Y moving down the beach. My patience soon to be rewarded with a crystal clear close-up in perfect light.... when a truck went roaring by. Another day, perhaps.
